About:

Huver is a third generation coffee grower, but his  relationship with coffee growing is only very recent! Until 2015 he was a math teacher at a school in Narino. but after the global coffee prices plumetted in 2014 he decided to return to his family’s  farm ‘El Paseo’ to help out and attempt to save it from closure. The Castillo family, with Huver’s help, were able to focus on quality and processing methods and have switched from commodity to specialty coffee in 2018. This change, along with tireless efforts have lead the farm to a great amount of success and tasty coffees!
