Almanac has stocked El Indio 3 years in a row now and I’m super excited to see it back. There is so much inconsistency in coffee farming and harvesting that usually leads to coffees tasting different every harvest. Weather being the biggest factor at play. But every year this El Indio lot tastes exactly the same. Nice big red fruits and a medium to heavy body. A really solid, tasty lot. It’s true testament to the skill of the farmers and processing team and also the beautiful region of Planadas, Tolima. Known for its sunny weather, which helps provide consistency in coffee drying periods.
