The Shantawene washing station recently received lots of attention in 2020 when Daye Bensas’ coffee won the Ethiopian Coffee Cup of Excellence competition with a lot he processed here. But he’s not the only one that uses these amazing facilities. Over 1600 local farmers use the Shantawene washing station every year. Almanac is super stoked to bring in two different coffees from the Shantawene washing station this  year, a washed and a natural!
